1800 Tequila launches the first ever tequila NFT on BlockBar

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, 1800 partnered with BlockBar and auctioned a bottle of Colección Tequila, one of the rarest tequilas in the world. Every edition of this extra añejo tequila was paired with a valuable decanter custom-designed by a renowned creative, including celebrated artist Leonora Carrington.

1800 Tequila launched the first ever tequila NFT on BlockBar – a new and exciting move for the brand to capitalize on a cultural moment. Ei aimed to deliver a landing page and CRM campaign by establishing a simple, effective user journey to demystify NFTs for the average consumer while supporting the deeper campaign experience for adept web3 users.

Upon launch, the 1800 Colección Tequila NFT sold within 24 hours, with 50% of the proceeds to the Council of Leonora Carrington and the preservation of more of her drawings, sculptures, and textiles.
